Branding, Marketing, Packaging...
These are points of interest for me both as a marketing student and as a photographer. I recently had a shoot with the lovely Kelly and her dog, Olive for her Christmas cards. (Check it out here!) In preparing her CD of images, I wanted to make sure it was packaged in a way fitting with my identity as an artist and appropriate to the occasion. So I grabbed some kraft paper and raffia and sat on my computer scrolling through my growing fontbook until I decided on a design. I printed out first on plain copy paper, planned out where I needed to fold and where I needed the design to print on the page in order to line up correctly. Then I printed on kraft paper, folded the CD envelope, rubbed the edges with some bronze stamp ink and tied on the white raffia.
Here's the finished product:
Super simple steps that personalize your client's experience and further your brand. =)
